Refugee village in Dhondenling / South India

This refugee village is situated in South India and was founded in 1974. With 5600 exiled Tibetan inhabitants it is one of the biggest and at the same time poorest refugee villages among the over 30 that exist in India. Geographical isolation and a very low standard of education reduce the possibilities of the refugees to earn their own living to a minimum.
